AcroYoga / Therapeutic Full Flight

AcroYoga is a dynamic, easy and fun practice which engages interaction between two or more people and supports us to overcome challenges. Ιt offers a wide range of possibilities: On a physical therapy level, through stretches and twists performed while the body is suspended, allow for bodywork in-depthstimulating both the glandular and energy system, while also applying the knowledge of Thai massage and yoga asanas. Psychotherapeutically, working with the body in suspension, our cell information creates a different plane of reality, awakening in one a cascade of emotions: trust, confidence, courage, fear, anger, frustration and self-love; emotions in a pure state, that force one to dive deep into ones own self and become aware of the here-and-now. It helps one to realize the mind's turbulence; by resorting to other territories within, we expand our so far perceived reality and raise a deep level calmness. AcroYoga helps us to develop confidence, spatial awareness, balance, self-awareness and self-esteem. It's a Yoga practice that allows us to share: between parents and children or between partners, giving us an opportunity to deepen relationships, while on the same time, improving our relationship with the environment and especially with our own self. The postures (asanas) are not solely performed with the body, but with the mind as well

Fear disappears when you're in a no-mind situation,
as darkness disappears when light comes.
Fear disappears giving way to the conscious action.
Thoughts keep you attached to the tension.
This practice helps you stimulate and enhance your concentration and creativity.

Namaste,
Carlos Kamal
